I wanted to bring up for discussion a couple of ideas for Customer Cross-Reference

1) It would be helpful to have a filter that allowed the look up of an item by the customer cross-reference field in inventory inquiry and other associated programs.
2) We are a contract manufacturer our customer typically have unique part numbers for “R” and “N” type items. Each customer provides a source control document and my have many approved manufacturers for an item. There is commonality in manufacturers used by our customers so we stock using manufacturers part numbers. It would be helpful to have a field and programs to add customer code and customer part number to the enter item screen, allowing multiple customers and customer part numbers same as the vendor and vendor part number idea.
