Title: Exporting Sales orders Post by Vanetta on 05/06/03 at 10:42:07 Could anyone help me on how to export data from sales orders to the new company that I just created instead of re-entering all over again??? I have not ever done any export of data before..our old system wasn't able to export/import. Thanks, Vanetta Reeve PEC Mfg. |
Title: Re: Exporting Sales orders Post by Lynn_Pantic on 05/06/03 at 11:04:28 You really can't export and import sales orders but if all you want is to bring the orders from one company to another, you can copy the BKARINV.Bxx, BKARINVL.BXX and BKARDESC.BXX to the folder of the new company and rename to the same file name wth BYY instead of BXX where BXX and BYY are whatever your company codes are. BXX might be just B if you started with the Default company. Also need to be sure all the part numbers and customers are in the new company. Might be easier to delete the new company and start over, making the new company as a copy of the existing company and then clear out what you don't want to bring over. |
Title: Re: Exporting Sales orders Post by bonniebrayton on 02/10/04 at 09:56:18 I am looking to import sales order (and customer info) from an internet shopping cart directly into DBA. I know that there is no "import sales order" menu screen, but is there any way to accomplish this without re-keying? |
