I recently posted some entries to 2002 & now I have a beginning balance on the trial balance report (GL-E). DBA tech support has been no help thus far & I've been waiting days (no kidding) for further response. They say not to run AM-B again, but rather to set period end close date to date prior to these 2002 entries but it is already set to a date in 1998! Help -- this is screwing up 2003 financials! :'(

If you are referring to beginning balances in income and expense accounts, go to UT-A and run GLEREDO and then post the YE entries that are created.

Thank you - problem solved. The income/expense accounts were showing 0 beg/end balances but this solution worked. Wonder why DBA tech support couldn't tell me this???? Thank you Lynn, you're awesome! ;D
