Title: New Withholding Tables Already Available

That was fast.  Bush signed the tax bill just a few days  ago and the IRS has the new tables available already.

It's very simple to do yourself. Unless your state tax rates are also being changed it's a matter of maybe 5 minutes work. Mine are already done.

David,
How do you set up the new witholding tax? Also, we have no tax in SD.
Thanks, Ragine

I have a pretty old version of DBA(99.2), but in the PR menu is the option "Maintain Tax Tables".  Under the RTM column is US0, USH, USM and USS.  Adjust these tables to reflect the values on the Annual Payroll listed in the new withholding.

I did ours today and processed payroll and my takehome pay went up about $15(we get paid biweekly) so that is about $400 annual for me.

Thanks, that was pretty painless! One more question(probally a dumb one), in the upper right corner it has a field: AMT EA ALLOWANCE
would this be $7000 single, $14000 married?
Thanks again for your help.

Amount Each Allowance should be $3100.00 regardless of single, married or head of household.
