Title: DC-A Post by CyberJoe on 06/04/03 at 05:25:17 When entering labor and production (DC-A), occasionally the reporting labor time will increment automatically to a unspecified time. For example, the operator may scan in on the job at 7:00AM, when they scan out a few minutes later, the scanned out time jumps to something like 31:00:00 hours. ??? |
Title: Re: DC-A Post by fredh on 06/04/03 at 05:42:42 What version are you using? Do you have overlapping shifts loaded? |
Title: Re: DC-A Post by Lynn_Pantic on 06/04/03 at 08:50:53 They are clocking both in and out within the shift buffers. If the clock-in buffer is 6:45 to 7:00 then when they clock in at 6:49 the system jumps it to 7:00. Then if they clock out at 6:57, the system sees a start time of 7:00 and a stop time of 6:57 the next day so it adds 24 hours. |
Title: Re: DC-A Post by fredh on 06/04/03 at 13:13:50 I was wondering if that was it. We have the same problem. If the employee is set for the earlier shift why does the clock jump forward? ??? |
Title: Re: DC-A Post by Lynn_Pantic on 06/04/03 at 13:33:29 It should be using the buffers for the shift defined in the employee record. |
Title: Re: DC-A Post by CyberJoe on 07/11/03 at 08:59:14 The employee's shift buffer is from 6:45AM - 7:00 AM. They are clocking IN on the particular sequence let's say at 7:07 AM. They only take several minutes to complete the task. When they clock OUT at 7:09 AM, that's when the time jumps to 31:00:00. I was advised by DBA to update to the latest version/service pack and all would be well. OOPS! Same problemo >:( |
Title: Re: DC-A Post by Lynn_Pantic on 07/11/03 at 09:58:14 Double check the system clock on the station they are clocking in on. If you think it is 7:07 but the system clock is 10 minutes slow, the program still thinks it is in the buffer. |
