We frequently have to release large quantities (over 700) of salesorders that do not require us to look at the line items or change any other parameters.
It would be advantagous to have a feature that would allow us to select a range of sales order numbers in the release screen (SO-E)

Helmut -

Easy enough to do but maybe more in the realm of a custom than an update because there are a number of different approaches. Some questions that would need to be addressed -
1. Do you release all lines regardless of on-hand stock?
2. Do you assign Shipper numbers?
3. Do you enter Ship Dates? Assign all released orders the same date?
4. Do you enter Freight Charges?

In our case we release all lines regardless of on-hand stock level.
No freight charge is added, the shipper is already assigned, because we print the pick / packlist before releasing.
The ship date is the same for all orders to be released that way, but needs to be entered.

we actually have such a custom program, but I am afraid that with future updates from ISTech we will eventually loose the compatibility and I do not want to have to update from two different vendors with a possibility of corruption of files.
