Title: part# will not stay active? Post by Laura on 06/18/03 at 13:04:04 I have some part#s that are unfindable when I search by item#, or class, or any search variable in IN-B. They can be found if you go to the item that is chronologically after the desired item and press F7. or if you go to a prior item and scroll with F8. They can also be found if you go to print Vendor prices. When you find them by scrolling F7 or F8 thru IN-B, they show inactive and the class description is blank, until you enter down to the part# description, and then the active is now Y and the class description is displayed. But I can't get it to stay that way!!! F10ing after flagging as ACTIVE and having the class description displayed does nothing. Any and all help appreciated. Thanks, Laura |
Title: Re: part# will not stay active? Post by aricon on 06/21/03 at 10:37:24 I would suggest some database maintenance on the primary part master databases BKICMSTR and MTICMSTR, as well as on the CLASS database, as it sounds like the db's are not reading quite correctly. Just like a machine, databases require some regular maintence. |

Title: Re: part# will not stay active? Post by Lynn_Pantic on 06/23/03 at 07:57:26 Try Reconcile Inventory (SM-J-C in 2002.4). It sounds like the BKICMSTR record exists but the MTICMSTR does not. |
Title: Re: part# will not stay active? Post by aricon on 06/23/03 at 11:54:23 I would also suggest the Pervasive database Rebuild routine. |
