Title: P/R Tax reports Post by Karen Mason on 07/25/03 at 12:52:18 Trying to gather the quarterly info for various tax reports. This is my first full quarter on DBA P/R and it's been a struggle. Is there a place where I can get the number of weeks worked during the quarter for each employee? (It's not always 13 for every employee). |
Title: Re: P/R Tax reports Post by Rickl on 07/25/03 at 13:04:23 Karen, I think if you run the "Detail Employee Earnings Ledger" from the payroll module and specify which employees and "from to thru" you will receive all of the information you require. |
Title: Re: P/R Tax reports Post by Karen Mason on 07/25/03 at 13:32:55 Ricki, State of Ohio requires number of weeks worked in the quarterly Unemployment reports. I ran the report you suggested but still need to count the weeks worked. Easy enough to do, but it would be nice to be consolidated on one page with totals only rather than a separate page for each employee. The report does not have the SS# on it so I have to go between two reports to get the necessary info. for the unemployment report. It seems like we have to run a lot of different reports to get the various information-a voluminous amount of paper! Does anyone else find the DBA Payroll a little lacking? |
Title: Re: P/R Tax reports Post by Rickl on 07/25/03 at 13:52:54 Karen, I understand now what you are looking for and thanks to New Hampshire, we do not have to count weeks per employee for our quarterly's. We only need the total gross along with Name and SSN. All that information is available to me on the "Employee Quarter-To-Date Taxable Earnings". I guess it would be really nice to be able to have a report that would give the info you require. Rick |
Title: Re: P/R Tax reports Post by aricon on 07/25/03 at 14:30:09 Well, we could certainly design an Access application that would give you the information you are looking for and a lot of flexibility in how you retrieve it. BUT, since almost noone here ever wants to spend any money to get what they feel they want/need (seems everyone expects to get everything for free), the only option left is to sit there and manually deal with 2, 3, 4 or more reports and hours of your time. |
Title: Re: P/R Tax reports Post by Lynn_Pantic on 07/25/03 at 15:29:30 Payroll is particularly tough to come up with standard reports because each state wants something different. Probably a good place for one of the first TAS 6 RTM reports so users can add whatever fields are needed and customize their own reports. |
