For instance, when you print Packing Slip, if you do a lookup for the SO number, it asks you "Open Sales Orders only?"

We never print closed Sales Orders. It would be nice to just turn the dialog off with it preset to "Yes". There are many other places as well that we only ever answer the questions the same way.
