We have an open PO and need to receive goods to it, but can't find it in PO-C or PO-A. ??? In PO-D we can see the receivers and that the PO is open. I tried closing the PO so that we could reopen but can't do that either :-/. How do I proceed from here?? Another note, the PO is old - from 2001 and we have received 5 shipments to it.

What happens if you try to add it in PO-A? Try to just enter the header and no line items, then save it, then bring it back up and see if the lines are there. If not, add the lines with the balance due so you can continue to receive against it. If PO-A won't allow you to use the same PO number, use a different number (like 1) and enter the header. Then save it and use Maintain Database on BKAPPO and change the PO number to what it should be. Then bring it up in PO-A and see if the lines appear.

I can't add the PO with the same number. When I try to use another number (like 1) with the header and go to BKAPPO to change it I get tjhe message: BTRIEVE Status 10 - the key field is not modifiable.

We just ran into the same problem on another PO today. Is it possible that someone may have deleted the PO ?- I am checking with people here. What happends if a PO is deleted while still open???

It is possible to delete a PO but they would have gotten an "are you sure?" type message so it is hard to do by accident.

Can you think of any other reason why the PO's would be missing? At this point I'm thiking we should just set -up new PO's to receive in goods and corss reference the nuew number on the receiving slip forAP purposes. Trying to think how to avoid this perplexing problem.

I agree, that's probably the easiest way to fix it - I am not sure how it is happening.
