We are using DBA 2002.4 with the 7/13/03 service release from DBA.

We go into a enter a purchase order with the intent of changing and or adding a note to the purchase order and when we go and save the note it kicks us out of the purchase order and puts us back to the MFG menu? We then go back into the purchase order and repeat the process and after the third or fourth time is finally saves the note. Why is this happening? Is this a bug?

I believe that is a bug that has been fixed with the most recent IS Tech version. If you are interested, email me directly at lynn@istechsupport.com and I can send you a 30 day trial of PO-A. If it solves your problem, you will need to subscribe for a support plan before the 30 days are up or go back to the old version of the program. You will also get the other IS Tech enhancements to PO-A.

We sometimes see this when running TAS Evo (ours still calls BKpoa.run), but not when running traditional DBA.

Our BKPOA is dated 6/6/2003.

We continue to have this problem in TAS Evo also. We only enter notes and copy po's through the old DBA, but it is a pain, since sometimes the person entering doesn't realize the need to switch or forgets to switch.

Finally nailed this one down and fixed it, both for Evo and standard DBA. Fix is in the IS Tech Support 12/1 post.
