Title: AP-C Invoice Date Change Post by Lenette on 11/21/03 at 16:09:00 Is there a simple way (in databases) to change just the invoice date? If so, what file(s)? Lenette |

Title: Re: AP-C Invoice Date Change Post by kevind on 11/24/03 at 09:00:24 Lenette, Please keep in mind that any GL transactions that occured as a result of AP-C will still have the dates as entered in AP-C. |
Title: Re: AP-C Invoice Date Change Post by Lenette on 11/24/03 at 10:15:15 Thanks for the info. Here's my problem... The invoice date (actual date of the invoice) was not entered correctly, therefore my ages are not correct. Also, I have monthly expenses that reflect in the wrong month. Lenette |
Title: Re: AP-C Invoice Date Change Post by Lynn_Pantic on 11/24/03 at 14:14:42 AP-C has nothing to do with the expense posting, that would be related to the PO-C date of receiving. P-C simply moves the cost from PO/RNI to AP. And the Invoice date doesn't affect expense posting either, it only affects the aging. If you only want to change the invoice date for aging purposes, you can edit the INVDTE in BKAPINVT. If anything more than that is involved, you really should reverse the invoice in AP-C and reenter it correctly. |
Title: Re: AP-C Invoice Date Change Post by Lenette on 11/25/03 at 07:55:55 Lynn, Thanks for the info. I did reverse the invoices (and even the receiving info) on a couple that were entered with current dates vs. the correct dates of Sept & Oct. (We recently found some invoices in the production dept...) Please clarify the difference between "voucher" & "gl" dates in AP-B. Which one is grabbed by the expense report? Lenette |
Title: Re: AP-C Invoice Date Change Post by FRED on 03/08/04 at 11:11:13 Hi, I did need to reverse two po invoices, as I entered them with the wrong date. I was able to do so, but after re-entering them correctly, I did get a warning msg that there was insufficient data to delete the data. my aging looks fine. not sure what those msgs mean, does anyone know? thanks, Terri |
