I noticed this last Wednesday: the file records (about 150 of them) were there at 10 am, but disappeared sometime before 11am. Fortunately we had a file backup from that morning to restore the file, but I certainly would like to know how it happened.

Our initial suspicion is that someone, thru PO-K, inadvertently closed all the open POs sometime between 10 am and 11 am (Accounting was closing some POs at that time). The only problem w/ this theory as I see it is that upon closing POs, the corresponding records from both the open PO header AND line item files--BKAPPO and BKAPPOL--should of moved/adjusted to the BKAPHPO and BKAAPHPOL historical files.

In our case however, 1) the open PO line item records disappeared, 2) the open PO header records remained intact and unchanged and 3) the historical header AND line item files remained unchanged. So:

1) Is it possible the PO-K PO close mechanism itself malfunctioned?
2) We had a complete power outage 48 hours earlier, resulting in difficulty with getting Pervasive back up. Could this be an issue?
3) Anything else? All other DBA files appear to be running OK as normal.
