Title: Subsid. Location Setup in DBA-Structures Post by tdsimon on 02/05/04 at 09:38:06 Hello, We are opening up a wholly owned sub in MX; we are discussing the options of setting up this sub as a separate company vs. simply a different location within our current 1 company structure. Considerations are the ease/accuracy of tracking inventory, running the MRP, complying with the various governmental tax/reporting requirements, etc. I would greatly appreciate the opinions of those more familiar with DBA. Title: Re: Subsid. Location Setup in DBA-Structures Post by Lynn Pantic on 02/05/04 at 18:46:34 It depends. If there is shared inventory, customers and vendors, a Location may be better. If they are truly independent entities then I agree, a separate company would be better. |
