Title: ESTIMATING MODULE TOTALS Post by samc18018 on 02/09/04 at 08:07:10 We manufacture subassemblies in large quantities. When useing the estimating module to calculate items made from these assemblies, the estimating module uses the setup time as if we were making one at a time. Is there any way to use the cost of subassemblies manufactured in batch quantities?

Title: Re: ESTIMATING MODULE TOTALS Post by Lynn Pantic on 02/09/04 at 08:27:36 Not at this time, the Estimating does a cost rollup based on the quantity inthe estimate passing down through all the levels.  If you have the Lot size set up correctly in the routing for the lower level assemblies, you could use the Standard Cost rollup rather than Estimating to get your cost based on quantity runs of subassemblies.
