Title: Routing cost actual cost power tool needed Post by shadowcaster on 02/18/04 at 15:20:41 Ok heres what I need to do I have over 3000 of type A items many with standard cost that are not in tune with actual cost I need to generate a report /spreadsheet that shows part number and the actual cost of each routing and the portion of the standard cost in that routing. So I know what routings to correct and by how much. Is there such a thing, could I do this in Access? Where is the job cost data stored? Its getting old having to do a job cost on each item and try to back figure dollars, time ect. to correct the standard cost on each item. I need a POWER Tool for this job. JW |

Title: Re: Routing cost actual cost power tool needed Post by shadowcaster on 02/19/04 at 13:41:06 Thanks That's close Very nice too I didn't know that was in there. If the part number was repeated on the line with each record it would be mucho better because I could them import the data into access and calculate what ones are realistic based on the existing standard and what ones have junk in them. is there a source I can lookat for that report ? so I can see where the data comes from ? then I can just ODBC it into access JW |

Title: Re: Routing cost actual cost power tool needed Post by aricon on 02/19/04 at 15:39:29 Can't remember the field name in ROUTING, but the labor field in WOLABOR is EST_LAB for estimated, and ACT_LAB for actual reported. |
