Title: Work orders - Print Pick Lists Post by wildco on 03/10/04 at 07:12:41 Is there any way to change the form of the pick list to include Bill of Material Notes? We are a company that typically purchases components and assembles them on-site so we do not use a traveller. Having the notes print on the pick list (or at least being able to turn on a default to allow it) would allow me to keep my procedures for assembly directly in the DBA Bills of Material, rather than procedure books. Thank you! |
Title: Re: Work orders - Print Pick Lists Post by wildco on 03/25/04 at 09:25:57 We are mainly a light assembly company, so we have not really used travelers or routings in the past. All assemblies are made from the pick list. I do see, however, that the traveler will print my BOM notes. Is there any way I can modify the graphical form to print bin locations? Then, I can use a traveller as a pick list and code my procedures directly in the BOM notes. Otherwise, we will have to print 2 pieces of paper, which seems like a waste. Any help you could provide would be most appreciated. |

Title: Re: Work orders - Print Pick Lists Post by Lynn Pantic on 03/25/04 at 12:18:16 I think we may have already added the Bin Location to the Traveler RTM as an invisible field. Let me check - if not, easy enough to do. |
Title: Re: Work orders - Print Pick Lists Post by aricon on 03/25/04 at 13:25:34 They separated them for exactly operations like yours that need to be able to pick-n-pack or do very light assembly and ship, so don't need the extra of a traveler. Just need to know parts and locations and quantities and who to label the box for. |
