I need to know how to initialize WOROUT.B and ROUTING.B. As these two files along are nearly 200meg's in size.

Why would you want to initialize them? That would lose all the data in them which you presumably need. ROUTING is all your master routings for parts and WOROUT is all the Work Order routings. If you want to reduce file size and speed reports up, you could archive closed work orders or even purge old ones you longer need to refer to. Archiving moves the data to a separate set of files that you can still use JC reports to look at; purging deletes them completely. In any event, after purging or archiving, reindex the files to recapture disk space.

Archiving would seem to be the correct route then. Within 2001.01, where might this feature be? As I can only locate the Purge function.

Looks like it wasn't added until 2002.1 - you need to update!

No, not much you can do in the version you are on.

You finally going to sign up with IS Tech Support once you are on 2002.4? ;)
