Title: JC-H workorder History not correct Post by shadowcaster on 03/30/04 at 13:39:50 I use JC-H a bit and I see some items where we have no labor / parts per hour so I give the guys in the shop hell. but they say Im wrong so I use DC-D and it has diffrent info in it see below heres a sample of my JC-H Std Act Run Std Act Std Act Close Dt Work Ord Seq Completed Scrap Setup Setup Hrs Tm/Pc Tm/Pc Parts/Hr Parts/Hr 01/07/04 501661- 5 20 0.00 0.00 0.0000 0.0000 4.6800 05:52:56 00:00:00 heres my DC-D Emp Date Name Work Order Op Shift Time-in Timeout Hours Flush Jobs 7 12/29/03 Carr, J 501661- 5 20 3 09:52:29 14:11:08 3.64 N/A 1 Total hours for 12/29/03 3.64 7 12/30/03 Carr, J 501661- 5 20 3 11:03:04 12:35:45 1.04 N/A 1 7 12/30/03 Carr, J 501661- 5 30 3 12:35:45 16:55:20 4.16 N/A 1 Total hours for 12/30/03 5.20 I think this is happening because they never tell the computer how many they complete. They claim they put in the correct info when clocking in and out of the job. I say NOT !!. how can I fix these records. JW |
Title: Re: JC-H workorder History not correct Post by aricon on 03/30/04 at 14:01:19 Bring up the labor records in WO-J (?) Enter labor [doing this from memory here... :)] and put in a quantity and re-save the records. |
Title: Re: JC-H workorder History not correct Post by shadowcaster on 03/31/04 at 13:23:08 Ouch I made a list from JC-H and I have 847 sequences that were completed w/o any completed in the labor entry. these span from 2002-2004 I tested one out opened the WO in wo-a set it to R entered labor in wo-f for the sequence setting it 100% compete closed the wo with WO-J the system made a wip adjustment ?? WHY anyone think this is the corect sequence ? or an I doing something wrong JW |
Title: Re: JC-H workorder History not correct Post by aricon on 03/31/04 at 13:36:45 You got it right. The WIP adjustment is because WO-J always tries to clear out WIP with either a + or - to get it to equal. 847 should take you about 1-1 1/2 days. Depending on how fast you are... ;) |

Title: Re: JC-H workorder History not correct Post by Lynn Pantic on 04/09/04 at 13:50:23 For anybody else with a similar issue, IS Tech has an add-on utility that will update the quantity complete in the WO Routing for each sequence of closed work orders within the range specified equal to the Work Order quantity complete. |
