Given the DUMBELL situation (below) How will the customer's invoice look?
Will it show just the parent part?
Could I have it list the subparts? (no price...but I guess the part# would have to show)

1. enter parts like this:
. DUMBELL type F
. SHAFT type A
. WEIGHT type A

2. enter routings
3. enter a BOM with DUMBELL as the parent and have SHAFT and WEIGHT as the components
3. add just the part DUMBELL to my Sales Order
4. Convert SO to WO
5. print travlers for both the SHAFT and the WEIGHT
6. job cost just the WEIGHT or just the SHAFT
7. produce Cusomter an invoice that just shows BARBELL

With a type F and type A under it, all that will be shown on the invoice is the top level type F. They type A are processed in the work order that assembles them into the F.

If the Dumbbell was a type K then the type A's would show on the invoice but you would never have a work order to assemble the parts into the Dumbbell.

So with a type K would there be price extensions for the part type A's.....or would the price roll up to the Type K? Or do you have the option to do either?
