I normally dont work with the WO part of DBA,but one of my guys brought this to my attention.

46407-1 supportshaft Upper Support Shaft w/diffusser
. seq description start qty should be
. 10 fin RH journal end 49 . 49
. 20 fin LH journal end 0 . 49
. 30 sweat sleeves on . 0 . 98

2 questions
(1) What should they have done to get the qtys to all the sequences in the first place ?
(2) How can I get the right qtys on the WO after the fact?

Start quantity of the first sequence is the Work Order quantity. Then as labor and quantity complete is reported against each sequence, that quantity complete becomes the start quantity of the next. In your example, there is no way the start quantity for Seq 30 should be 98, the work order is only for 49.
