Title: WO recalc estimated costs Post by cathyh on 06/07/04 at 14:41:22 ???Well I thought I had this all figured out. If we have a part, F,A, or N and do not have a standard routing, but build a routing at the work order level, we get no estimated costs for the work order. Shouldn';t we be able to add sequences to a work order and have DBA use what's in the WO to calculate estimated costs without the sequence having to be in the standard routing? |
Title: Re: WO recalc estimated costs Post by Cyndee Pappas on 06/07/04 at 16:10:40 Try going back into WO-A after you create the routing. Resave the WO and say yes to recalculate estimated costs. This works for adding items to the WO BOM, but we don't use routings, so don't know for sure if it will help in your case. |
Title: Re: WO recalc estimated costs Post by Lynn Pantic on 06/07/04 at 16:52:48 That should work - I have on my ever growing list adding the ability for WO-K-A and WO-K-B to recalculate the estimated cost when the BOM or Routing of a WO is changed so you don't have to go into WO-A to do it. |
Title: Re: WO recalc estimated costs Post by cathyh on 06/08/04 at 07:53:29 That's just it, when we resave and recalculate estimated costs for a work order that has a routing, for a part number that has no standard routing, we get 0$ for estimated labor costs. If we duplicate the work order routing in the standard routing for the part number (with 0 hours) we get costs in the work order when we save and recalc. |
Title: Re: WO recalc estimated costs Post by tarapownall on 12/05/06 at 07:38:41 I have this problem every time I recalculate the estimated cost. Every time I recalculate the esimated cost I lose the estimated labor. This happens when I change the qty of a work order or copy a work order too. |
