Title: ODBC--Call Failed Post by tcook on 06/17/04 at 13:20:20 After changing to a new computer, I reconfigured the ODBC. When I test it, the test is successful. But, when I try to run a report in Access, I get a message, "ODBC--Call Failed. Is there something else I need to set up in my new computer to run reports from Access? |
Title: Re: ODBC--Call Failed Post by aricon on 06/17/04 at 14:18:11 Recreate the ODBC link in the access query or link table that you are using as Access stores a string value that includes some UID information for your particular computer and such. |
Title: Re: ODBC--Call Failed Post by tcook on 06/18/04 at 06:15:56 Do I have to recreate the table or query, or can I relink somehow to the new ODBC connection? |
Title: Re: ODBC--Call Failed Post by aricon on 06/18/04 at 08:35:43 You can relink if you bring up the properties of your query or your linked table(s). |
