Title: unable to change company after ISTECH update

I did a search and found where Lynn addressed the issue,   but I don' t think we are guilty of this.    Could it have accidentally happened?

It is possible, many people install a second copy to use for testing installing updates and such.  However you wouldn't be able to "Change Company" - you would have to actually launch the executable again.

.                        I  have not tried to change the company in years.
I am stuck in the middle of the latest ISTECH update and can't get into Sales Orders????

What suffixes do other folks have?

The only files I have in MAINTAIN DATABASE have a suffix of B.   Does that mean I am operating off company B?

examples:
ASHYLOG  B
ARTTEMP B

What suffixes do other folks have?

.B is the default company. .B99 is "The Manufacturing Answer" company included with DBA. Any other suffix is one that is user assigned when you create new companies.

for the archives:

If your company is the B company, then you should be able to run the UPDFILE program at UT-A.

Since my company is the B company I did not need to switch.  (I have no other company)  I skipped this step and went directly to UT-A.    This seemed to work.
