Title: unable to change company after ISTECH update Post by Laura on 06/25/04 at 16:04:13 I did a search and found where Lynn addressed the issue, but I don' t think we are guilty of this. Could it have accidentally happened? Re: Installing DBA « Reply #1 on: Feb 19th, 2004, 9:13am » Quote Modify -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- It is possible, many people install a second copy to use for testing installing updates and such. However you wouldn't be able to "Change Company" - you would have to actually launch the executable again. . . . . I have not tried to change the company in years. I am stuck in the middle of the latest ISTECH update and can't get into Sales Orders???? |
Title: Re: unable to change company after ISTECH update Post by Laura on 06/28/04 at 06:12:26 What suffixes do other folks have? The only files I have in MAINTAIN DATABASE have a suffix of B. Does that mean I am operating off company B? examples: ASHYLOG B ARTTEMP B What suffixes do other folks have? Laura |
Title: Re: unable to change company after ISTECH update Post by aricon on 06/28/04 at 07:23:47 .B is the default company. .B99 is "The Manufacturing Answer" company included with DBA. Any other suffix is one that is user assigned when you create new companies. |
Title: Re: unable to change company after ISTECH update Post by Laura on 06/28/04 at 07:56:49 The only company I have is B. I dont have B99. For some reason I never had the The Manufacturing Answer The only suffix i have is B |
Title: Re: unable to change company after ISTECH update Post by Laura on 06/28/04 at 09:17:51 for the archives: If your company is the B company, then you should be able to run the UPDFILE program at UT-A. Since my company is the B company I did not need to switch. (I have no other company) I skipped this step and went directly to UT-A. This seemed to work. |
