Today, we tried to release 4 out of five items in a selling kit (part type "K"), and backorder the final item. DBA does not seem to allow this to happen anymore (although it used to). We are on ISTECH 3/27/04. I know that we should be able to hit no to "release all lines" and no to "release items proportionally" and manually release each item in the kit.

Has anyone else experienced this? We have a workaround by deleting the line that cannot ship out of the sales order kit, and adding it as a separate line with $0 cost, but this is sort of a pain.

I just tried it on the current IS Tech version and it worked fine. You may want to update.
