When we close a WO using WO-I, the wip variance no longer shows up. It does if we use WO-J (just tested), but production always uses WO-I. This is under the classic DBA or Evo. We do not have the 7/21 update applied yet--would that fix this?

Maybe your work order default was accidentally changed? (system manager SD-B)

Hi,

We are still having the same issue after setting our system flags in SD-Q as follows:

Check Comp at Fin Prod Y
Process WIP Variance in WO-J Y
Check if Qty per SEQ Y
Incl FP scrap in cost of goods Y

In the prior version we were on the wip variance
amount would show on the screen in Mfg WO-I,
in version 2002.4 it doesn't come up. Is this a system
flag set up or doesn't 2002.4 show the variance in
MFG WO-I?

According to my materials manager, he says the same thing. I am having him print a WO receipt (JC-Q) to verify wip variance. However, it would be helpful if the information appeared on the screen at the time finished production was entered to identify problems right away.
Was this a change in any of the recent updates?
