Title: Assigning Vendors or Manufacturers Post by Mike_Djirdjirian on 08/03/04 at 08:15:49 When entering inventory (IN-B screen) and I hit the Vendors or Manufacturers button I am booted out of enter inventory screen and am unable to assign vendors or manufacturers. I am the only user with this problem and it is not a security issue. We have been struggling to fix this problem. Very frustrating, what do I do? |
Title: Re: Assigning Vendors or Manufacturers Post by wildco on 08/03/04 at 09:12:29 Are you out of all other screens? If not, the system will do just what you have mentioned. Other possibility is that security is not set for PO-L (which is the primary program) and IN-B accesses. |
Title: Re: Assigning Vendors or Manufacturers Post by Mike_Djirdjirian on 08/04/04 at 08:14:41 Yes I am out of all other screens and I have access for both PO-L and IN-B. What else could be causing this problem?????? |
Title: Re: Assigning Vendors or Manufacturers Post by Lynn Pantic on 08/04/04 at 08:39:27 When you first start DBA and the "This program is registered to..." license screen comes up, DON'T click the X to close it. Press Enter or any other key or wait for it to close itself. Screwy as it seems, clicking X to close that screen messes up any programs that are chaining to another program and then back to the original program which is what is happining in IN-B. The other issues mentioned about having other DBA windows open at the same time is also an issue but if you only have IN-B open then I bet it is the license screen. Both these issues are fixed in TAS 6 Evolution. |
