Every now and then we do not ship everything that gets entered on a sales order. I would like to know if there is a way to "close" the sales order so that when that is done it is just like a work order where the back orders from the sales order just go away. We do not want to edit the sales order to change the quantities ordered because knowing what was originally ordered lets us know how we determined pricing. Is there a way to just kill off the remaining units that are back ordered on a sales order without changing the original quantity ordered? Thank you, Bill

Change the remaining quantity to 0 but answer N when it asks if you want to change the original quantity.
