Since we upgraded to the ISTS Enhancement last month, our bookings report went from taking a minute or two to run to around 15 minutes to run. Why does it take so long now? Customer code, salesperson, territory, invoice date, and currency are all left blank. Order date is for the previous day (ex. FROM 08/24/04, THRU 08/24/04). Curser skips over Print in Base/Source and leaves it at "S". Sales/Booking report is marked as "B". Freight Charges in total is "N". Finance Charges are "N". Any ideas as to why it runs slower that molasses?

We added the section for changes to sales orders but I can't see why that would make it take longer - at least not that much longer. I will check with the programmer and see if he is indexing differently or something.

I am also getting reports that SA-A is running way slower than it was before I updated to the 7/21 release.

I updated on August 28th (updated from the January release :( ). The compaints started August 30th.

OK, we found something that would slow it down and fixed it as best we could given the limitations of the original program logic we are working with. I will send it to both of you, let me know if it is better.

Thanks Lynn, the fix you sent me got the sales force off my back. The report is back to running at normal speed.

Thanks, that's good to know. I hope to get an update posted this weekend with this patch as well as a number of others.
