Title: Migrating DBA to new Server Post by HB on 10/01/04 at 07:48:53 We have installed a new server and I installed DBA and Pervasive with all latest updates. I created a test company "XX" and copied the contents of "XX" company from the old server. How can i get user passwords and other system settings. In other words which files do I need to copy ??? |

Title: Re: Migrating DBA to new Server Post by Lynn Pantic on 10/01/04 at 15:05:58 Even though the XX company is all your active company data, the passwords and user settings are in the B company data in the DEFAULT folder. Copy that over too. If your original DBA installation was really old, then your *.B files are in the root DBAMFG folder but when you copy them over, you want to put them into DBAMFG\DEFAULT because that is where the new installation is looking for them. |
