Where is the best place to find directions on installing a new workstation?
I searched the archives anf found bits & pieces.
I looked in the huge old DBA ringbinder.
I kinda looked under the help pulldown.

If there is a step by step guide somewhere please let me know. If not.... I would like to build one and put it in the search archives.

Well, it is actually quite easy.

1) You should already have a drive letter mapping for the DBAMFG folder and for the PVSW folder on the server.

2) Go to the PVSW/Clients directory and run the setup.

3) Run the tests in the setup to make sure you are properly connected.

4) Once Pervasive has installed, go to the DBAMFG/Workstation Setup folder and run the Setup from there.

5) Re-boot the machine (to ensure any install files are cleaned from the cache) and log-in to DBA.
