I was wondering if anyone could help me figure out which table(s) I would need to use to produce an annual sales report in Crystal Reports with sales broken down into months and sorted by customer. I looked in the inventory transactions tables as well as the customer master tables for info I could use but I must have missed something. Thanks in advance!

BKARHINV has Inv #, Date, Total and Customer Name/Code. That should be everything you need.

If you want to include open bookings as well, you will also need to reference BKARINV.

I usually do not use the totals in these files. Instead a let Crystal / Pervasive calculate totals from the Line Item Detail.

I wrote a Cross Tab report that shows Daily / Weekly / Monthly / Yearly totals on two pages for any year you have item detail for.
