Our accounting manager went in to do a one-sided entry to fix the trial balance being off. The fix was for a prior year, but she didn't reset the GL close date, and now there's lots amiss! We need help. Don't want anyone doing any new stuff until this gets fixed.

How do we get ourselves out of this problem?

Do another one-sided entry that is an opposite of the one done and post it to the same date. Then reset the close date and do the entry correctly.
