I have an order in the system that shows 5 items on backorder. Each item has an average cost of $245.

When I run a bookings report for the day of this Sales order, I get an Open Booking for this order with the correct Sub-Total, but with a Cost of Zero and a Profit % of Zero.

If this is correct, then the Bookings report has little value as a preview of the invoiced margin on a pending order.

Is this the intention, or should the Cost Column in this report reflect the cost no mater if it is Back ordered or not?

The projected COGS on the SA-A Bookings report uses Standard Cost because it is a projection. I suspect the item has no standard cost. The report includes the cost regardless whether the item is backordered.

I just checked, and they do have standard costs.

Any other Ideas??
