Hi,

Since installing the ISTech Updates (12/4/04) we have not been able to print the second description line or the specs lines after the first description line on our packing lists. This worked prior to the updates

I looked at the BKSOC3.rtm report and the fields appear to be there.

Is there a setting for printing/not printing these fields on the packing list?

SO-C has a question Print Comments after shipped items? You need to say Y.

Now that you brought it up, how can I keep the comments after shipped items from printing on the Invoice.

If one wants to ship the remaining items on a Sales Order that has had partial shipments, and you release all the items in SO-E by answering Y to Release ALL lines, it seems to release the second line description on all items that have already shipped such that they print on the invoice.

To not print them, you have to go in and manually set each one to 'N'.

If you get the update subscription from ISTECH ($35 a month) one of the included updates is the ability to save settings for each screen for printing invoices, acknowlegements, packing lists, purchase orders, etc. Each user can have specific settings or there can be global settings. Therefore, you can have your own Y and N defaults for these screens.

The updates from ISTECH are well worth the $35 per month cost and I sincerely recommend them.

I have the IStech updates, and after you pointed this out, i have seen the 'Save Settings' button that pops up after changing one of the default settings. Unfortunately, it does not appear to be saving the settings.

Where do these settings get saved? If DBA places a file on the client computers, it may be a write permissions problem.

You have to enable the feature first in SD-Q.
