Title: SO-A error won't go away, please help
Post by Kristie on 03/04/05 at 14:16:30

When trying to get into SO-A in TES6Evolution we are still getting the following error message; "a record was not found in FILELOC for file -ISARCHG.B-2.  There must be a record for each file opened."  I have installed the latest version today, the 02/22/05 update.  We went into UT-A, program UPDFILE, ISARCHG and clicked process.  Then we went to SD-Q and made sure the default settings were correct.  I have made sure the toolbar in on.  I don't know what else to do.  I'm pulling my hair out over this.  A few weeks ago we didn't have this problem, now I can't get rid of it.

Forgive me if this sounds insulting, but, did you run UPDFILE, ISARCHG from Classic DBA and the default company? (I love EVO so much, I have forgotten to open Classic when necessary. ::)) Even if you did it in Classic, it may not have processed correctly. I'd try it again.

Kristie -

I know you are still using TAS 6 Evolution rather than Evo-ERP so you need to go to UT-A in Classic and run the UPDFILE on ISARCHG to make sure the file is updated, then download the file and follow the instrustions from www.istechsupport.com/datadict.asp

Or install the conversion to Evo-ERP

Thank you!  I had run the program in Classic DBA, but didn't do the update from www.istechsupport.com/datadict.asp afterwards.  The error message is now gone!

Lynn - what do we need to do to install the conversion to Evo-ERP?
