Occassionally when we generate PO's, the Item # and the Description do not match. The Vendor # associated with the Item # is correct. The correct Item is being ordered. It's just the description that is wrong.

What is causing this? Is there some routine maintenance I need to be doing to avoid this? What can I do to fix it? Reindex a file? Which File?

I would re-index BKAPPO, BKAPPOL, BKICMSTR, and MTICMSTR. That should resolve it.

We are again experiencing the problem of the Part # of one item and the description of another associated with it.

Is this something others experience or is it our problem alone? What could be causing this?

Any suggestions?
