We are having a problem when we print to a .pdf file from sales orders, quotes, etc. We are using adobe acrobat pdf writer printer driver to create the .pdf files.

After the pdf file has been created and saved, we get the following error message:

Run Program: \\server\folder\BKSOA.RUN not found.

the path '\\server\folder\' being the location where we saved the .pdf file.

All other DBA programs give the same basic error.

Restarting DBA clears up the problem, until we try and print to the pdf file again.

I believe this issue is unavoidable unless you are directing the saved file to the DBA root directory.

It may have been fixed in the Evo version of the program.

Yes, it is definitely fixed in Evo. Evo even has a built in PDF generator so you don't even need Adobe to create the PDF.

We use Acrobat Distiller instead of PDFwriter. No problems. Default destination (defined in Distiller) is Desktop.
