Title: Print Item number rev level on PO
Post by pdbernier on 04/01/05 at 08:09:07

How do I go about adding the revision level of an item number to the purchase order report form?

We are using the BKPOB2.RTM form for printing.

Thanks

If you are not on EVO you can't. And I would take it that since you indicated you are using the BK form (not the T6 form) that you are not on EVO.

Not true, that field was added to the form a long time ago but it is invisible.  Make sure you have the latest version of the RTM (copy RTX to RTM of the same name, the RTX is always the latest version) and then use Modify Forms and make the Rev field visible.

Sorry, I was responding to the general statement of "how do we add a field......", and without having access to the form itself to look at that is the most general and applicable answer to that question.

The fact that particualr field happens to have been added is convenient and co-incidental to my comment.

Well, in general, that is true, you need Evo to add fields to forms that aren't already there.

I have the BKPOB2.rtx file dated 2.21.2001. I chaned the name to BKPOB2.RTM and loaded it using 'modify forms', but  I do not see the item revision level field on that form.

Is this version of the BKPOB2.rtx file too old to have the field?

Thanks

Yes, that's too old.  If you have the IS Tech updates installed, you should have a newer one 10/30/04.
