I thought it was possible to limit the access to only a particular field on one screen (such as units on hand) - is that correct? If so, how? Or where are the instructions?

Access is limited to programs, not components of the program. Once somebody's in the program they can do anything they want.

DBA Next-Gen offers some limited field-level security, but for the full thing, you have to go to a fairly decent mid-range solution such as Great Plains.

Thanks to both of you. At least there are checkboxes available to disallow changes or deletions to the accessed areas.
