We were trying to run a Detailed Trial Balance GL-E and got the following message:

"There are unposted YE files in the BKGLTEMP file. These must be posted before this problem can work".

How do we do this? We tried posting using GL-O and using 01/01/04 - 12/31/04 as a date but got the message: "This date is outside the valid fiscal year range". Any ideas on this?

If you do have unposted YE entries, use AM-A and set the close date back to 1/1/02 and then you can post them in GL-O.
