Title: statement problems still exist Post by cathyh on 09/06/05 at 07:29:14 WE have printed statements and the following problems STILL exist: 1) THe payments for entered number of days are printing as of the date printed and not as of the statement date. 2) The last invoice in the payments column is "0" instead of the invoice number. 3) Payments continue to be dropped from the list for no apparent reason. I have looked at the check records and all the fields are the same as to which fields have input for both payments that show up and those that don't . We actually only have one particular customer that this happens to consistently. I hate to be a whiner, but when are these errors going to be dealt with? Statements are pretty important around here! |

Title: Re: statement problems still exist Post by cathyh on 09/07/05 at 08:04:25 Well, gee, I would do that except it doesn't work anymore either. We want to show invoices that were paid in the last month. When you say no to "print items with open amounts only" and put in a date for "if printing fully paid items print only on/after" the date for the first day of the month, ie 8/1/05, it still prints everything from the beginning of time. That coupled with the unreadable format, we much prefer the newer version even with all the corrections we have to make. My AR person is becoming quite creative with white-out and cut and paste. It'll be a great relief when she doesn't have to face that at the end of every month, that is when these bugs are squashed. |

If you are doing alot of cut and paste with white out, do you have Adobe Acrobat Pro? You can save the statements as PDF files, open and edit them. Print and save. It takes a bit to figure it out but well worth it. John |
