Title: Re: TOO MANY PUSHES Post by JNAPIER on 09/19/05 at 05:21:05 Probably a record lock at the time you tried to roll-up. |
Title: Re: TOO MANY PUSHES Post by mwee on 09/19/05 at 05:55:35 NO DBA ASKED ME TO RUN UPDFILE IN UT-A. NOT WORKING. THEN ASKING ME TO RUN SM-J-C. NOT WORKING |
Title: Re: TOO MANY PUSHES Post by Lynn Pantic on 09/19/05 at 15:25:45 Try RO-B - if you get an error there too (probably a Matching record not found) then you have either work centers in routings that have been deleted or a part number in the routing file that has been deleted from the inventory master file. As a side note - UT-A UPDFILE will never fix anything other than specific dictionary related errors detected by UT-A DDCHECK so running it for any other reason is a waste of time at best. UPDFILE is designed to be used for adding new files or fields to the data dictionary, not for fixing corruption. |
Title: Re: TOO MANY PUSHES Post by mwee on 09/20/05 at 08:26:03 THANKS AGAIN LYNN I TRY RO-B AND I GOT THE ERROR MESSAGE " A MATCHING RECORD WAS NOT FOUND DURING RELATED FIND". Title: Re: TOO MANY PUSHES Post by mwee on 09/21/05 at 03:06:03 Lynn IF I TRY TO REBUILD IN PERVASIVE THIS TOO MANY PUSHES GO AWAY ? THANKS MICHAEL |
Title: Re: TOO MANY PUSHES Post by Lynn Pantic on 09/21/05 at 08:20:23 No, if you are getting the matching record message in RO-B then there is an entry in the Routing file for either a part number or work center that does not exist. |
Title: Re: TOO MANY PUSHES Post by mwee on 09/22/05 at 11:29:49 THANKS A GAIN AND AGAIN. MICHAEL |
