Title: WO-C
Post by david.carrilho on 10/07/05 at 07:08:02

Update 9/25/05 installed 10/05.  Today, newly printed Travelers print with only the last Seq.  (Did not print any new Travelers yesterday).  WO-K-A shows only the single Seq as well.

Reprinting Travelers from before installing the update print correctly.

Patch at www.istechsupport.com/dl/925patch.zip.

Same problem here, tried the patch and I still am only getting the last seq. printed.

It was a problem with the generation of the work orders so for WO already created, they still have only 1 sequence attached.  Go to WO-A, change the status to S and save, then go back into WO-A and change the status to R or F and save again.

Bingo Lynn... that did it...

Many thanks.

After the 9/25 update, our instruction section of the Traveler is all out of whack.  It puts the instruction in, then skips 5-10 lines and then repeats the instruction.    Makes for a crazy shop traveler.  Any solution?

That has been fixed. In the 9/25 update we added PO/SO style NOTES to WOA, and the WOC prints them.. but the old code to print the old style notes was not removed.. My fault.
:-[  Will be in our next post ( post is being compiled today )

Another problem: WO's do NOT print with the extension number... the number after the dash (-).  It only prints the WO number and the -.

CMSK,
The datafield in the RTM needs fixed.  We use T6WOC2.rtm.  The datafield for the extensions is in as
MTWO_WIP_WOSUF.  You need to replace the "_" with a "."

I assume I do that through the report editor... which I can't use right now 'cause I keep getting a access violation error.  I've asked about this in another post, so hopefully this will be addressed today.

Thanks Karen

Are you starting DBA with "TP7Runtime.exe" per the instuctions?

Actually this is EVO.  We simply start EVO or DBA from the shortcut that gets placed on the desktop.  I did check however, and the DBA shortcut points too TP5wdba.exe.

In any event, the problem is in EVO.

I just checked the EVO, I guess TP7Runtime IS EVO... sorry 'bout that.  The EvoERP shortcut point to 'evoerp.exe C:\ISTS'.  That's what the installer created.  I never saw instructions to run TP7Runtime.  Regardless, I tried running the TP7Runtime and I get the same error.

For reasons beyond my finite understanding, in order for the forms editor to run you have to start EVO using the TP7runtime. However, the email won't work. So what I do is first start the TP7runtime and open the forms editor. Then I close EVO and start it the normal way.

That said, where are you getting the error in TP7runtime? Does EVO appear to open and operate normally, and you get the error when you attempt to start the forms editor? Or does TP7runtime not work at all?

If I run TP7 all seems fine, although it would unexpectedly quit at times.  When I try to open the report editor, I get the same access violation error I do when trying to open the editor from EVOERP.exe.  I've tried this running TP7 from both the local drive and also from the DBA folder.

The error reads something like :

Access violation at address 00000000. Read of address 00000000.

Have you downloaded the forms editor?  http://www.istechsupport.com/evoforms.asp - it is a slightly different version of the EXE that goes in a different folder.  Next update will elliminate the necessity for the different EXE.

Well THAT just might be the problem... Sorry, Lynn, I didn't know I had to install a separate program.  I assumed that since the report editor menu choice was there that the program already was.  I'm d/l'ing now and I'll let you know how I make out.
