Title: First line of PO's goes to clearing account Post by stl3370 on 10/10/05 at 07:36:25 Using EVO with 9/25 update. I like the addition of the GL account in PO-A. However, since installing the update, I have noticed that the first line of every PO now goes to the GL clearing account. Also, when entering a department on the PO header screen, it was not being carried over to the line screen and I had to manually enter the department for each line. Sean Leybold Optics |
Title: Re: First line of PO's goes to clearing account Post by stl3370 on 10/13/05 at 09:30:17 Is anyone else having this problem? On any PO entered, the first line comes up with the GL clearing account. All other lines on the PO are correct. Definitely not fun when trying to post GL entries. Sean Leybold Optics |
Title: Re: First line of PO's goes to clearing account Post by David Waldmann on 10/14/05 at 03:59:50 I didn't realize the pattern, but yes. See http://www.istechforum.com/cgi-bin/YaBB.pl?board=DBA_ACCT;action=display;num=1128091220;start=6#6 With the update showing the GL account it's going into you can see that it's 99999 when you enter the PO. We have the ability to change the GL account turned off, so you can't go down and change it. Any reason we can't go back to previous version of T6POA.RUN? |
Title: Re: First line of PO's goes to clearing account Post by Lynn Pantic on 10/14/05 at 16:03:37 No reason not to go back to the previous T6POA.RUN until we get this fixed. |
Title: Re: First line of PO's goes to clearing account Post by David Waldmann on 10/17/05 at 03:14:01 Is it feasible to fix the existing POs that were entered to the clearing account, or should we wait until they're rec'd and then change them in GL-P? |
Title: Re: First line of PO's goes to clearing account Post by Lynn Pantic on 10/17/05 at 09:20:42 You could turn the editing on and fix them in PO-A if you want. Or Maintain Database on the BKAPPOL file |

Title: Re: First line of PO's goes to clearing account Post by NovaZyg on 10/18/05 at 09:12:49 It's been fixed, but we can't post the fix as there are also new features that are not finished yet. It will be in the next post. Soon we hope. ::) |
Title: Re: First line of PO's goes to clearing account Post by Karen Mason on 11/16/05 at 07:30:32 I don't know if you need to take another look at this or not, but my first PO line did not go to the clearing account, it went to my finished goods inventory. However, it seems to only happen on non-stock inventory items. |
Title: Re: First line of PO's goes to clearing account Post by cathyh on 12/05/05 at 14:59:33 This happened to us several time last month, before the current update. When I changed the default to edit I still couldn't get to the GL account. I had to change the edit to no and delete the line then re-enter. NOw my purchaser is searching the PO's for GL errors and when she finds one, if she just enters through the line, it fixes itself. I guess that means the problem is fixed! :D |

In reconciling Finished Goods GL account to IN-F for November, I have found the same problem with the 1 line item of a po going directly to GL account for finished goods for po receipts of noninventory (CLASS N) and (CLASS R) inventory types. Not sure what the pattern is, but we did just download the 9/25/05 patch in November. Any fix yet??? ??? |
Title: Re: First line of PO's goes to clearing account Post by Lynn Pantic on 12/07/05 at 14:54:21 Yes, it is fixed in the 11/18 update. |
