We have never used this feature of DBA but I'm thinking it could be a very useful program.  If someone out there uses it, would you / could you tell me how you utilize it in your company (ex. your power bill, phone, etc.).

I use it only for items that do not flucuate in either, amount or distribution, for instance-life insurance on corporate executives, rent, retainers, etc.

Almost ditto.

I do use it for amortized loans as well, using the average principle and interest figures for the entire year, and then change the amounts at the beginning of every year.

Question about recurring vouchers - How does one delete a recurring voucher when it is no longer needed?  DBA has an add feature, but I'm not sure where one deletes it.

Has anyone done this????

If you may use it again, you can just change the "Maximum Times" to 0.

Or, while editing it, press F4 to completely delete it.

Confused - I added a new recurring voucher, generated recurring vouchers, and an old recurring voucher that had "0" as maximum times on it last issue, still generated.  Perhaps because it was set up with a frequency of 12 or because it was established without a selection code??

Is there a way to delete this old voucher from memory so it doesn't keep re-generating???

David:  at what point do you delete F4 an old voucher?

Just about any time, I think. I know that you can as soon as you select it from the lookup, and at least the first few fields thereafter. Try it, it won't hurt anything because it asks and the default answer is No.

Ok...Is there a place where you can view recurring vouchers?

And how do you edit existing ones?  Can't seem to bring them up in a view.

Unfortunately, I don't know of any way to print a list. I'd think you would have the option of printing before you generate. I suppose that the data must be there for Data Export or a Crystal Report.

As for editing an existing one, first enter the Vendor Name, then do a lookup in the Invoice Number field. It will show you a list of what's already been entered. If there's nothing there, there are none.

There is also a Report button on the screen which will print a list.  At least there is in the IS Tech Version

My BKAPO.RUN is dated 5/18/02 (I don't have a T6...) ???

Oh, I don't have a "Report" button.

I found the "report" button appeared after you selected a vendor.  I ran it for the 1st time last night, it was a great find.

Still don't find it. What version/date is your file?

If the correct file is BKAPO.RUN then it's dated 05/18/02.

But you have to select a VENDOR before the "print" button appears on the right bottom.

File is actually ISAPO.RUN, dated 11/11/05 is the latest.

Guess I missed the latest menu update.....

Speaking of recurring vouchers, I am having a problem when running the recurring vouchers.  Some are set up weekly, others monthly.  Even if the monthly one has run for the month, it will keep generating each week.

Lynn, thanks for correcting me... these past few weeks have been crazy and I'm not even sure what day it is.
