Title: Shipping Label Question Post by Brian Snyder on 11/22/05 at 11:07:39 Is there anyway to rotate the text on the shipping label BKSODD1.RTM 90 degrees. Our labels are taller than wider so we would need to have the print come out sideways to work. We tried using the landscape setting but that didn't work. Any help would be appreciated. ??? Brian |
Title: Re: Shipping Label Question Post by JNAPIER on 11/22/05 at 11:48:26 We use a thermal printer provided by Fed-Ex. The printer and labels are free. I modified the RTM to add our Logo. It got rid of one more printer from the desktop anyway. John |
Title: Re: Shipping Label Question Post by Brian Snyder on 11/22/05 at 12:05:29 We have a UPS label printer. The labels they provide are 4x6 with thier name on the bottom. But we have 2 cases of 2-1/4 x 4, thats why we need to rotate the text. Any idea if it's possible? |
Title: Re: Shipping Label Question Post by JNAPIER on 11/22/05 at 12:14:06 Well the UPS ans Fed-Ex software print directly to the port of the printer without using a printer driver. Using the printer with DBA will use the printer driver. I know our Zebra printer has many different config options and in landscape mode it does print sideways. I have only done it with a label program that also prints directly to the port so ????? I Know not much help :P John |

Title: Re: Shipping Label Question Post by JNAPIER on 11/23/05 at 10:05:35 Have you tried to setup a custom sized label set as landscape or are you using an existing label setup? John Edited to add: Have you checked for the newest printer driver on the net? |
