Title: times in routes being reset Post by timgolds on 12/01/05 at 14:51:28 Help! I don't have clue what is causing this! it has been happening for over a month now. When we create a route for a part, we put in setup time and time per part. say 1hr for setup and 3min/part. when a work order is opened for that part, all information gather for that workorder and that work order is closed, the times entered previously in the route ar changed. they don't always follow the work order either! This is realy messing up our system as our standard cost to create a part keeps changing. Any ideas as to why this is happening would be a great help! This problem is wiggin out our variance reports. Thanks in advance, Tim ??? |
Title: Re: times in routes being reset Post by shadowcaster on 12/02/05 at 14:17:56 are you using standard time ? of getting time from DC JW |
Title: Re: times in routes being reset Post by timgolds on 12/06/05 at 07:58:45 Both. Most of our routes use standard time. One user currently uses DC for labor and parts complete as he also has a PC. |
Title: Re: times in routes being reset Post by timgolds on 12/07/05 at 07:01:29 a little more info. It appears it's only happening on routes with work centers at CNC. If the work order doesn't have a work center CNC on the route, it's OK. I should also note that the work center CNC is also were the computer that's using DC is. Otherwise we enter time using WO-G. Again, any help would be appriciated. |
Title: Re: times in routes being reset Post by rmh148 on 12/08/05 at 06:30:10 I do not know if this is the same problem or not, but! I have just found that WOROUT lines are disappearing. Hundreds. I haven't found the cause yet. I have work orders that were created and released, at 7:30 am the routing lines and worout lines match. Forty-five minutes later all but the last operation line are missing from WOROUT. The ROUTING files still has all operations. I just found this yesterday so I haven't created a post. |
