Title: IN-L-M Batch Transfer
Post by GasGiant on 12/02/05 at 04:50:45

So, it exits the program when I choose a serial number... what is the name of the program that I'm supposed to be running for IN-L-M? I'm clueless.

T6ISINLM.RUN I have had this problem since day one. It doesn't always crash out. Also I can't do a lookup of transfer # when reprinting a transfer slip. It will freeze up. When it works, it is great. I use the transfer slip as the packing list. Showing each item separatly with it's serial #. I hope this gets some attention soon. I have made over 100 batch transfers the last 6 months. One workaround if it keeps crashing is to select a non serialized item first, than delete that line item and proceed with you serialized stuff. This has always got it going for me.

John
Have you notice anything specific or consistent as to when it does "crash out"?

With regards to the transfer # lookup, does it eventually bring back a list of transfers? How big is your INVTXN file?

Hey Mike,

When I do a lookup, it immidiatly shows a screen. It only loads one screen full with no scroll down bar. It seems like it is still trying to load and I have waited more than an hour in testing. It still never gets a scroll down. It does have a scroll OVER bar, but it doesn't let you scroll with it. My INVTXN file has 862100 records in it. I have yet to see any actual pattern in the crash out. Sometimes it is the first item I am trying, or the secord or tenth item. If it would help, I could send you a CD of the B. files you think are needed so you could see? Is their a DeBug program I could have running when I do these transfers to see the errors?

Thanks,

John
