Title: backflush by sequence Post by cathyh on 12/05/05 at 07:19:48 After the 11/18 update on 12/03 ( downloaded update on that date) we deleted a part from a WO BOM in WO-K-B and then finished the sequence that this part was in and all of the parts listed after the deleted part on the shop traveler did not backflush. The parts are not listed in part number order; I don't know how the order is set, but speculate it is in the order entered. I tried this in test and the same thing happened, so the error is definitely repeatable. |
Title: Re: backflush by sequence Post by cathyh on 12/05/05 at 08:04:58 Actually, the delete part number has nothing to do with it. It was just a coincidence that the deleted item was on the second line. Whenever a sequence is backflushed with more than one item on the bill for that sequence, only the first line is backflushed. We could use some help with this since we issue almost all of our parts using this method of finishing a sequence and backflushing parts tied to that sequence. Actually I think it is backflushing the first two lines, but in the first example the 2nd line was deleted. |
Title: Re: backflush by sequence Post by cathyh on 12/06/05 at 07:28:43 Has anyone else seen this? This is a really big problem for us, since we issue just about all of our materials this way. Any help (Soon!) would be greatly appreciated! |
